Sammy Avis is a Kentucky state Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She received a Master of Education degree in a Clinical Mental Health Counseling program through the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2012. Sammy’s work experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in both an outpatient and therapeutic foster care setting. She has worked with an array of client’s and issues such as trauma, anger, self-harm, anxiety, and depression. 
Sammy enjoys using a holistic approach to exploring presenting issues and symptoms aiming to identify their root. She will work with you to achieve your goals through targeting the root of the issue and building practical skills. Sammy is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life events by activating the brains natural healing process. Dr. Katie Dine Young is a clinical psychologist who is well trained to work with a variety of problems in a holistic way. Her goal is always to help clients overcome difficulties that are preventing them from having the best possible quality of life. Dr. Young has over 20 years experience and provide therapy for adults, children, teens, college-age adolescents, and post-partum women.
