Alyson LCPC, NCC, CCTP holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowie State University. Alyson is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals. She is also a certified EMDR provider, a certified provider of the Instinctual Trauma Response Method and soon to be Level 1 trained in the Internal Family Systems. Her approach combines evidence-based, bottom-up approaches in her therapy in addition to trauma-informed yoga. Krista Verrastro, MA, RDT (she/her) is a Registered Drama Therapist who blends drama therapy, talk therapy, and EMDR therapy. She specializes in helping teens and adults who feel used, abused, neglected, or rejected transform from surviving to thriving. Elissa Levine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Social Work. In her work, she uses EMDR, Brainspotting, Emotional Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), Gestalt Psychotherapy, Bonding Psychotherapy, Awareness meditation, Hellinger Family Constellations, Therapeutic Use of Art in therapy, and other experiential based work. Elissa is also certified as a Supervisor for advanced social work licensure in the State of Maryland and District of Columbia.
Elissa has worked successfully with clients with PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety, and other disorders that often begin as a result of childhood trauma including sexual abuse and family violence. In her work as the Program Manager for Counseling at House of Ruth Maryland’s Prince Georges County office, she gained expertise in working with victims of domestic violence including helping them to heal from abuse, become empowered, and develop healthy relationships.
In her previous career, Elissa worked as an Earth Scientist at NASA’s Goddard Spaceflight Center which was an inspiration for her work as a Psychotherapist today.

Julia Knach is currently the owner and founder of My Crossing Paths Counseling Center. Julia was previously the Manager of Clinical Services at Baltimore Child Abuse Center (BCAC) and before that she was the Clinical Supervisor with Family and Children’s Services (FCS), supervising both Baltimore City and County. She works with all populations dealing with trauma and abuse. Prior to joining FCS, she worked at Hope Health Systems satellite office. Here she worked with families throughout Baltimore City that were dealing with both trauma and addictions. She is currently an adjunct professor at CCBC, teaching in the human service counseling department
